Readtry preserves the exact file you upload. Modern formats open directly; older formats receive a separate browser-friendly reading copy.

Native reading

• EPUB 2 and EPUB 3: reflowable and fixed-layout books.
• PDF: faithful PDF.js page view, a reflowable extracted-text view, and queued OCR for scan-only files.

Imported and normalized

CBZ/CBR/CB7/CBC comics, FB2/FBZ, MOBI, PRC, DRM-free AZW/AZW3/AZW4, KEPUB, TXT/TXTZ, HTML/HTMLZ, Markdown, DOCX, ODT, RTF, DjVu/DJV, CHM, LIT, LRF, PDB/PML, RB, TCR, and SNB.

What cannot be opened

Readtry does not remove digital rights management. ACSM license pointers, KFX, protected Apple Books, password-protected files, and DRM-encrypted EPUB, PDF, or Kindle files are rejected with an explanation.

Conversion can change typography or navigation. Your byte-identical original remains available for download from your library.
